We successfully completed the Installation of 13 FRA Compliant Fire Doors at St Michaels Nursing Home. We approached the site for the first time to find damage to the old doors and a few frames in need of some repairs, so we got ordering the materials we needed to get the job done.

Our client, the owner of this Nursing Home can now rest easy knowing that the next FRA Will be a pass. All door gaps were within 3mm top and sides, and within 10mm on the ground to allow for easy opening. Nevertheless, We did fit drop down seals on this job to guarantee a pass on the next report.

We used Ply Flush 7'x3' FD30 Fire Doors with Hardwood Lippings on the bottom and opening edge, and all Fire- Rated Ironmongery for this project. We work very closely with Howden's and have maintained a good relationship with our local branch. Every product we put on these Fire Doors was tested for durability - So you know the job is done properly.

DORLEY HOUSE CARE HOME
EASTBOURNE, EAST SUSSEX

This job was a good one for our team at Halo Carpentry. The owner of Dorley House got in touch with us regarding their recent failed FRA Report, marking three of their fire doors non compliant.

The frames were solid but their current fire doors were outdated. With the gaps around the door being up to 8mm and visible damage to them - We stepped in to replace them. We used Ply Flush FD30s with Hardwood Lippings to the bottom and closing side to make these doors completely compliant. With careful use of hard- wearing fire rated ironmongery the job was completed.

Being in a care home, we had to work safely around residents and not only provide quality carpentry but great Customer Service too. Once the job was finished, the new FRA report was done and they passed with flying colours.

NEW BUILD DOORS & FRAMES
BATTLE, EAST SUSSEX

Our Client came to us an expressed his need for 11 new Internal doors and Frames in his New Build property in Battle, East Sussex. This job was a wonderful one for us because of all the free space to work within and being able to transform the blank canvas into a contemporary family home.

We used Solid Oak Dordoigne doors sourced from our local supplier, Howdens. The frames were standard Softwood frames that we installed carefully using 10 fixings on each side to guarantee a quality, lasting result.

Once all the doors and frames were installed, It brightened up the property and our client expressed his excitement to move in. Internal doors can completely transform space and be a cost- effective solution for your property upgrade.

KITCHEN REFIT
HASTINGS, EAST SUSSEX

This Kitchen Refit is one of our favourite transformations so far. Our Client came to us and expressed his need for a new kitchen fitting, as his previous one was outdated and not utilising the space properly.

We came along and ran through options with our Client. Using our extensive knowledge of kitchens from our suppliers Howdens and Wren Kitchens, we came up with a solution and initiated a design plan.

Once our 3D Design modelled kitchen plan came through, we got all the pre built base and wall units delivered to the property. We then expertly fitted them with use of a laser level to guarantee precision, and then finished them off with pelmets for the Wall Units and the Oak worktop for the Base Units. The final step was the plinths, and this really transformed the space.

Our Client was over the moon with his Kitchen transformation and with proper utilisation of the new space, he finds himself with empty cupboards which was far from the case before. With Kitchen fitting being our speciality, we love to hear the positive feedback and impact to our Clients.

LVT FLOORING FIT OUT
BEXHILL, EAST SUSSEX

On this project, Our Client contacted us via our Website regarding the need for Installation of LVT Flooring in her property. We contacted her back and organised a visit to quote up and work out square meterage to give an accurate price and time limit.

After arriving at the property, we discovered she had previously had an Engineered Oak flooring fitted that she disliked due to the ability for it to get scratched easily and the joints not being tight enough. This flooring was taken up and the underlay was left on, ready for LVT Flooring to be installed.

Our Client ordered the LVT Flooring herself, and we made our way there to install it once the quote was finalised. With radiators to notch around and out of square walls, this one was tricky but we took the challenge on and completely transformed the dining room. With our Clients choice of a light grey LVT - It really brightened up the space.

Now this floor is scratch resistant and all the joints are tight, there is a guarantee that this product will last. We gained a positive review and Our Client was ready to have everyone over for Christmas dinner, in the nick of time.
