Firstly, Our client came to us and expressed how he wanted a total refresh of his entrance way with new shaker style doors. We started by removing the old doors, measuring the opening and getting our materials ordered.

Now we had all our materials on site and a vision of how they would look - We started constructing them. With an 18mm Ply wood sheet and 6mm MDF for the face, we would guarantee long- lasting quality doors.

Now all four doors were built, we got all of our hinges cut out of the existing lining ready to fit them the next day. All the doors were stacked flat overnight to avoid any bowing or twisting of the timber, this is an essential step.

With all our hinges chopped out of the lining, all we had to do was hinge the doors with a router and they were ready to go in. We got the first set of doors installed - and they were a major improvement already.

After fitting the first set, we repeated the process and got the second set of Shaker style doors on. Ensuring even gaps all around and installing magnet catches and knobs onto them - They were ready for the final decorating.

The finished product. Both sets of doors were painted up and old hinge holes in the lining were filled, sanded and finished off. This entrance way has been transformed and our client was over the moon.
