First, we took a look at the old, dated hob and sink and figured out the safest but also cleanest way of removing them from the worktop.
After our first evaluation, we would remove the hob by unscrewing the clips holding it into the worktop. This would then give us our hole which we used PVA glue on to prevent future water damage.
Doing the same process with the sink, we then apply the same method of PVA glue surrounding the entire inside edge of the worktop. We also fit a bigger sink - so after our cut into the worktop this was very important.
The new, modern hob is now fitted. With rubber seals built in and the worktop glued - We know this is completely water tight. After our electrician wiring it all up and a final clean it was complete.
After calling in our plumber with over 40 years of experience, he plumbed in this new sink beautifully. With all the waste nicely finished and new isolators this will stand the test of time.
The new sink was now fitted. Sealed and clipped to the worktop it was ready to go. We also fitted a new polished chrome tap which really completes the look. This customer was over the moon.
